Mane Thickening/Growth Enhancing Products?

Try Shapelys MTG- it smells absolutely awful but it works. Sometimes can be messy but with my mare it worked within the month and she had a full neck of hair! Or another one, one of my ponies was allergic to this so I tried hair thickening shampoos by Aussie or something like that or even herbal essences and that works quite well but it doesn't work as well- but it is the one if your pony has sensitive skin!
 
mine had a really thick top half then a scraggy bottom. I trimmed any really damaged bits (by twisting sections and then chopping off the errant escaping strands). I then coated it in morroccan oil (which was expensive but hey ho) and did a running plait for the last bit. Redid the plait every four days or so, not too tight. That helped a lot in breaking the cycle. And the oil seemed to make less stuff (rugs etc) catch on it.
I also feed coconut oil. Buy a massive bucket wholesale. Mine are/ look the type to be lami prone/ extreme good doers so getting protein etc in without also becoming fat/ too hot/ lami can e a challenge. This has made their coats really lovely all over.
