Hello, so I was thinking of cutting my horses mane as it getting quite long and also quite thick just thinking what does everyone do with a fine horse that doesn’t suit a long mane and that wants to cut it and how? I’ve had him a year now it’s always been relatively short but not ridiculously short but it grew a lot. As I got him in may last year and in winter November time I made a mistake and chopped his mane it was think and just a bowl cut basically it looked quite awful really. It’s grown back since then a lot and I just don’t want to make the same mistake any tips? Do I cut in a angle, dry or wet, thin ias it’s thick or just go in with the scissors? Any suggestions welcome! The first picture was taken a month after the big chop last year.
I want it a bit longer than that as it was soo short at first what length would suit him?
I quite like this length what does everyone think?
Just to give you an idea his mane was this long when I got him..
His mane is so much thicker now.
sorry for the long paragraph well done if you got this far!!
