So I waa looking at a feed supplement and that was an ingredient...what it/why is it used please

It's just some of the minerals horses need, manganese and sulphur, with some oxygen and water molecules tagging along. It isn't common in the UK for forage to be short of manganese. In some places like where I used to live there's a heavy overload which causes problems.

What supplement was it in?
.

It turns up a lot in joint and mobility supplements as it's required for none and cartilage.

Evidence is sketchy if feeding it will help with issues but then there isn't a lot of evidence with most of the other ingredients
