One of my boys is unrideable with the amount of shaking, twitching, tail swishing and foot stamping he does.

It started in November but no link to management changes. I am now feeding him magnesium but some weeks later no great change. Worsens with more work to point of random bucking . Seems to be unrelated to ridden work / saddle as same on horse walker or lunge. Anyone come across this problem who can offer advice before I have to start paying vets and pyhsio's oodles of money! Am waiting on blood test results and googling like mad! Hoping it is a metabolic/mineral imbalance and not neurological.

Any info greatfully received please as poor chap seems so confused!

Don't wish to be rude but have you checked for lice and mites? An allergy is another thought. Tbh, I'd involve the vet. Poor fella it must be dreadful for him

It sounds as if he is in pain when ever he moves - so during ridden work, and also on the lunge/walker. I would get a vets opinion ASAP and they will be able to advise you on the next steps to take with your boy.

Goodness me. I can't believe you have not got the vet. Stop ar**ing around on google and forums and get this horse the medical attention it needs.
