Well as you know hunni had marble to stop her hell seasons, and well because of my bad luck it didn't work :/ she came back into season two days ago and has been a stroppy mare since, she is on oestress and its not touching her, and she also hasn't spat the marble out, any help on what to do next? I possibly can't ride her when she is in season as her back gets extremeley soft and causes her to buck/rear ect, now before you say it's naughtiness it's not, as vet scanned her ovaries and told us she had a very enlarged follicle! I'm just at a loss now.... Also I have to try and ride her when she is in season as she is on about 2 wks and leaving her that long is a death sentence lol

hmmm, sounds exactly like my girl except mines got abnormal hormone levels thrown into the mix. Has your vet suggested 'Regumate' to control her seasons? Its fairly expensive and doesnt work for all mares but its worth considering.
Im still trying to decide which route to go down for my girl, it may just be a case of working around the problem- ie, lungeing/loose schooling if you cant ride?
Not much help am i!? :p Mares ay, who'd av em? ;)
