Not sure if anyone here can help or if they have experienced the same problem.

My mare over the last few days has been difficult to ride, distracted and not easy to settle or get her to calm at all (possibly seasonal?), then after a while maybe 15-20 minutes she starts this odd jogging whilst in walk, yesterday I got off her for a few minutes to see if she wanted the toilet, but she showed no signs so I got back on for a few minutes, with a view of getting a nice calm medium walk.

After finishing riding I put her back in her stable, the minute I untacked her and walked away Nigara falls! this has happened the last few times I have ridden her this week.

Not sure how to deal with this anyone have any ideas?

I don't have a solution, but you are not the first person with this sort of problem. My friend has a gelding who refuses to pee under saddle, or on any surface that isn't grass. She's had many a good ride fall to pieces when the horse has to pee part way through, but instead of stopping and getting on with it, he gets extremely anxious and wound up, like a kid dancing around because they have to use the bathroom. Only option, once she realizes this is why he's playing up, is to lead him onto some grass and get off.

The owner has been toying with the idea of teaching him to pee on command, like racehorses do for urine tests. That way, she could make sure he goes before she rides.

This is just what my mare was like yesterday, a kid dancing and jigging about, however she isn't normally bothered where she goes, frequently she will go on the concrete in her stable if her bed is brushed back. Im wondering if I could teach her to pee on command as well, as its getting quite frustrating. :(

I think the racehorse trainers use fairly straightforward conditioning. When they see the horse peeing of its own accord, they whistle and give it a treat. Horse links the whistle with peeing and the reward.

This is along the lines of what I was thinking, however, she decided to be as good as gold last night, and then didn't even pee after her ride!!! Typical! :D

Our friends inadvertently trained their horse to pee on command.
After a day out hunting they would nearly always pee on the lorry as soon as they got on board when the adrenaline had stop. Because she didn't want the lorry peed in so often she'd chuck a tub trug under them to catch it and the horses got to learn what the tub trug meant!
