Gemma hun, honestly you do need to know the basics of where your ned's bones and muscles and things are, to help you if similar problems arise. There's some really good books out there that don't cost an arm and a leg but that might help you in the future. It's always helpful to be able to have a reasonable conversation with the vet, so you can understand all the implications both now and in the future for your ned. Glad your girl's ok.
