Your turn .. :)

We have been talking seriously about putting Zoom in foal while I am at uni. She will be living down the road from the National Stud in Saint Lo, Normandy.

If it was to breed a horse to keep (which is the plan) I like this one from down the road:

or this one

However, she is a 14.3tb so I think she would make a lovely cross with a connemara. I was also looking at the small tb redoubtable:

My lovely mare died a month ago. I always dreamt of her having a foal with Weltmeyer or Don Frederico. I also like Lauries Crusader and Rotspon. I have seen loads of their lovely babies in Germany.

Too many to list!!
First choice would be to an ID, but I would worry about her having a foal that is too big for her. I would like a 16hh ID with a good amount of bone, but she is 15.3hh with 8 1/2 inches of bone, so I suspect due to my overly worried nature that this match won't happen!
Second choice would be a nice compact connie that tends to throw overheight progeney. My mare is half connie, and I think having a foal that would turn out like a nig pony would be ideal (so, pretty much a clone of my gorgeous mare!).
Third choice if I get going on having the guts to leave the ground would be a tb. At the moment I don't think I would have the confidence to bring a foal up well that has a bit more about it! Think my mare with a smidge more height and refinement would be just fab!!
Too many choices as have spent more than a minute or two day dreaming about it!

Love it haha :p I would as well if heidi was mine!!

Lol! :D She's too old to have a foal and it's such a gamble when breeding that I reckon cloning would be much easier to get what you want! ;)

On a more serious note, there are some lovely stallions being mentioned on this thread. :) I just wouldn't know where to begin narrowing down the search!

i may make you slightly jealous as i 'completed' my ideal breeding last year with the birth of my boy:

If I bred from her again it would have to be something with some serious movement/conformation & great colouring. Would love to get a mini version of her temperament wise, but with better movement. Maybe this guy: http://www.stallionsonline.co.uk/stallion_29410.html
or this:

I absolutely love my mare to pieces and am definitely going to breed from her in the future.

I don't know what with, but something that chucks geldings will be the first port of call, as don't want another mare.. lol but it will be the best warmblood, dressage type I can afford. Not too big, temperament being the most important (that after wanting it be a gelding).

Cannot wait.x

Well Seren has had 6 foals but I did want to and try breed from her two years ago now but had some problems.
She is a bit old and with the laminitis I cannot risk it but if I could it would be a lovely black and white gypsy stallion, this is the four year old I took her to, two years ago now, she had a great time if nothing else! I just got vets bills and stress but she seemed happy! lol

He had a lovely nature and she fell in love with him, Mrs Robinson eat your heart out!

For the mare I used to ride I think she would have had a cracker of a foal if she was covered by Uptons Deli Circus.

As for Lacey not a clue, a donkey perhaps??? ;)

I've got a two year old (nearly..28th july) by Circus...she is fab. Also got a yearling by Mill Law. I have bred them both myself and have been very lucky.

I am very lucky as my mare was covered last year by my dream stallion Vivaldi (KWPN) and we have a fantastic colt. Stud fee has shot up this year but I hope (if I save enough pennies) to use him again next year.

My mares are both tbs, and i think i'd choose sea the stars for my older mare, and kauto star for my other one, i think they are super horses and love to say that my foal is by one of them.:)

Hopefully for something like this:

....again. They produced the goods this year.

For my arab (Baikala Bey) there is only one purebred that I would breed her to and that would be Htobago, I have thought long and hard about it, believe me, but unfortunately, logistics are against us.

Waiting until next years DJ foals arrive to make up my mind about a couple of other QH mares I have as to whether they go back to him or I move them on.

Probably HT Tobiago :) my mare is a leggy chestnut Arab and I think their offspring would be a ginger bombshell. That said she's now 24 and although she's very much still game when it comes to the boys across the fence she's probably past having babies :)

:DROFLMAO, that made me chuckle. Sorry, I do know what you meant, but wouldn't it be great if there was a stallion that produced geldings?!

Would love to be able to afford to put my mare to Utah Van Erpekom as I think he is stuunning, and I used to look after him when I worked for Cameron Hanley.

I am another one that would like to clone, but then when you have removed the mares ovaries there isn't a lot of choice!!

However, if my mare was still entire, then I would be looking at Angrove Ricco
