Mare udders and surrounding area swollen- fly bites! Suggest

My mare has been plagued by the flys around her udders, and now over night it has swollen up like a balloon- warm to touch. Obviously a reaction to the bites, but any suggestion o. What to do?!?!

Vet would be my choice. If she has mastitis or it turns into mastitis that is going to hurt.

Vet as could've turned to mastitis and get power phaser spray. Best thing on the market for keeping the flys and midges away. Can get in a spray of balm form. Good luck.

My mare pours blood from her udders from flies. She hates spray. So I slather on sudo cream and a squirt of fly repellent. She likes it massaged on!! Tart.

The flies don't seem to head for her udders with sudo cream.

I do need a share in sudocream
over summer though haha!
