Mare with Canine teeth just erupted. Any advice?

My mare is 8 this year and has always been a diva but for the last week or so she has been a pig to open her mouth for the bit which is quite unusual. Finally got it in and just lunged her but she was pulling her tongue back and not accepting any contact. Annual dental checks and next one booked for April she has also for the last year or so shown to be a mild headshaker only when ridden.
So taking the bit out today something caught my finger so I had a feel in her mouth. She has a really sharp canine tooth just erupting on one side and can also feel a blind one on other side.
Just wondered if anyone else's mares have them?

Yes it's relatively common though don't normally cause much of an issue .

Yes my welshie had some, she had one that was erupted (just) and caused us some contact issues, and one that was blind.
I had them taken out under sedation and she's happier for it.
