My mare will soon turn into a fire breathing dragon :-) its at this time of the year until about mid may that she is a nightmare... it doesn't bother me as such as her leaping about just makes me laugh but it can sometimes be a pain for dressage as she leaps about like a demon possessed! What do people suggest in terms of something to make her behave a bit more normal but not take away her sparkle! I would never know when she is in season so although the behaviour changes for a couple of months I can honestly say that in the 4 years I have had her she has never been obviously in season and for most of the year she is pretty well behaved.

I am open to any suggestions :-)

Thanks

Hi - I could of written that post myself!! I have a real scarey Marey in the spring, and have wasted £'s on "calmers". Now on Veterinary advice I use Regumate. Result = Awesome!! she is still a sassy mare but without the hormonal aggression. Talk to your vet about it. Good luck, and would love to know how you get on. X
