mares manky feet (long) sorry help needed

right here we go,
i bought a mare from a riding skoool as it was closing down and a very very very fat lady was goiing to by her .. so i paid £400 for her to save her from having fat lady by her with a few problems which i knew about, right she has artherites which she is on bute for and all tht. but the stables nexer mucked her out, she is 15.2 shire x idx tb , gawjus, and i got her her frogs were like putty(very squidgy you could stick your finger in it riddles with maggots) anyway i got this treated and it was fine ,although has alot of feathers i have trimmed these off and washed legs over 100 times to get rid of mite and for last year has been biting coronet bands and making them saw got vet gave anti-biotics and suggested this itching injection, which she has had, vets have no clue what it is. black smith came and hacked away at her very soft frog and frogs stunk and bleedin .. over last 12months frogs have got alot harder and alot better nealy back to full strenght bu is still itching her coronet bands i have tried everything and so have vets any advice . please
 
I would probably clip the fur right back to the skin on her legs. Or maybe try her with a lice powder or fly spray. It might be due to the flies.

Has anyone advised you on her diet as that can have a lot of effect on the skin and hooves, let alone mites? I don't know what you're feeding but suggest you either add some oil to her feed or use a feed that has some added, possibly AlfaA Oil or for a simple feed, Baileys Economy Mix or Nuts, they both have added oil and are low energy. I'd also suggest you give Brewers Yeast too; it's a great skin conditioner with added B vitamins, you should notice a difference in her skin, coat and hooves quite quickly. Sulphur is also good for skin conditions, just a spoonful a day should help. Feedmark also do a supplement for the skin but I can't remember the name; I do know it's quite expensive but lasts ages and is very good. By helping the skin to be right, you'll be helping the foot growth too. Another good feed for this is Blue Chip, which you only feed a small amount, that is well worth the money in my experience and if you fed that, you wouldn't need any other supplement. I havent used it personally but a lot of people recommend camorosa for itchyness.Our mare has cracked heels if we dont moisturise them and the barrier cream I use in the winter has some camorosa in it.I think you buy it on line and know they use it for lots of skin conditions.Might be worth putting a post on here for opinions.
I would use a hoof supplement or a good balancer like blue chip or top spec .
We use sudocream on the creases at the back on the heel for maintenance to keep the skin soft and supple and I clip feathers .
