Have rung my vet but wating for them to give me a call back.
Am I right in thinking that Diva who is on Regumate should not be coming into season?
She has had two since she went on in January...

Regumate supresses oestrus, hence no seasons. However, if the mare has significal follicular activity before being given the regumate, oestrus can still occur - although it is unlikely that full ovulation will be possible. Hence still getting "seasons".

This is how I understand it - but I'm not a vet!

That was my understanding - but she started it in January having shown no clinical signs of being in season. The scans done then revealed one very large ovary and one very small ovary.

She has had two both recently - neither of which have been a problem but it does make me wonder if there is more going on with the ovaries than we first realised.

Hannah still showed in season when she was on Regumate, but it was a minor showing compared to evil keneevil which we had previous

She still 'flashed' and 'squirted' at any boys who were passing, but I found they would last only a few days and as I say, be no where near as powerful. I do not know whether she actually ovulated as I never had her scanned in these periods.
