my mare has been in season for, well im sure it must be the 4th week, and has been quite sensitive - we've had a few bucks during canter transitions etc and she is very vocal and clingy. not to mention the state of her back legs
this is the worst one I can ever remember her having (am into my 3rd year of owning her, she is 15ish) and has been brought on more i think by the fact that a new mare arrived and she has fallen totally in love with her, calls to her etc. she came into season very quickly after her arrival into the herd.
How much longer can she be in season for?! Do you think i should consider regumate or something, i have tried stroppy mare, global herbs and a few mare hormonal supplements before but they didnt help. But shes never been this bad before - or so long.
