Mares.

Love other peoples but dont do them myself, prefer geldings or even colts, just find mares (or ones I have had at least) too unpredictable and stressy!

What I can say tho, of the people that have them (ie friends) when you get a good one they are damn good!
 
My mare has put me off mares forever

She turned evil overnight and is now a complete cow in the field, kicking, rearing and charging. My mare must be permanently in season.

In summer though, I don't notice any difference in her, apart from that she is a tart and a little over friendly

I have had - owned or loaned - 9 mares in total and not one of them has been teasy or temperamental at any time, even when in season. So rest assured, it's by no means all mares.
