marestare

I have been on there for a few years now.

This site comes with a warning!!!! ITS ADDICTIVE!!! ha ha

And I can guarantee as soon as you switch off they will foal!!

Did you know that you can set the alarm so that as soon as a mare starts foaling it will let you know? Saves having to hang around the computer screen all day! :o

Awww we saw the vet come in, struggle with her for 40 or so mins! At one point he actually had his legs on her rump as he tried to heave the foal out! The mare looked quite distressed :(
Next thing the vet was on the phone calling for help, and the live feed stopped.

10 mins later according to the marestare forum the mare was then enroute to the vets, due to the foals difficult position....

prayers for both mother and foal......thinking of you all

Any news on the mare from T&J farm yet, it was horrible to see her struggle like that and then all go off, I started to imagine all sorts of horrible things.
Fingers crossed for mare and foal.

Very sadly both the mare and foal passed away :(

Apparantly the mare was not due to foal until March and took everyone by complete surprise when she started to foal early.

The foal had sadly passed away 24+ hours previously.

Due to complications the mare was also PTS by the vet.

very very sad news, thinking of the owner and sending her (((hugs)))

Run free with your baby across rainbow bridge x
