Mark Rashid UK courses - anyone riding or spectating?

Hi,
Just wondered if anyone was riding or spectating in the upcoming Mark Rashid courses, I think May time in Scotland and somewhere else. I'm in Nottingham and was thinking about spectating at one of them as I love his written material.

Also don't suppose anyone is doing the Julie Fenton waterholes rituals course in Huddesfield? I'm going.

Have a good day, Hannah

I'm a big fan of Mark Rashid and would love to attend one of his (very rare) clinics. Unfortunately my purse won't allow it!

I believe he is doing clinics on the New Forest as well. www.amandabarton.co.uk. Both the scottish and New Forest clinics are too far away for me to travel to spectate.

forgive me not knowing who is Mark Rashid

He's an author and a horseman. He specialises in thinking outside the box to solve horse problems.

I got a few of his books as an afterthought in a special offer...and I was hooked.

My favourite is, "A Good Horse is Never a Bad Colour" about his recollections of learning about horses via an old man's wisdom.

Of all the 'natural horsemen gurus' I've never actually heard a bad thing about him....and he uses bits and shoes too

When I moved to Ireland 10 years ago, where was I the day before I left California on a plane to change my whole life? Spectating at a Mark Rashid clinic!! He's brilliant, as his solutions are based on whatever works for the horse and rider and their specific goals. No gimmicks, sales pitches or magic tools. An honest, dedicated man who reflects and responds rather than lecturing or setting an agenda. Wish I could get away to go to this.

Oohh think i'm going to have to find the money.. Think it's £100 to watch for the 3 days and could stay on a campsite in horsebox... About a year ago when went out to Equine Sciences Academy and Whole Horse Sypm I was like I'm going but I'm never going to go or want to go on a course again until got the money.. No sooner i hit home I find something else, I just love courses, rather do that than a beach holiday (unless it's with my horse) any day.

Good to hear good feedback on him, I had thought from the books intially he was a young strapping cowboy, then watched Path of the Horse and realised not do!
