Mark Rashid

He did say last year that he didn't have any plans to come back to the UK to teach.
I'm going to a clinic in July with Amanda Barton, who is one of his student instructors, really looking forward to that!
Also going to watch the Martin Black clinic as it happens. :-))
 
I would have bid to ride with Mark Rashid if he'd come back this year. I think it's going to be really interesting riding with Amanda though, she's a good teacher. Because of the location we're going to be able to ride in the Ashdown Forest as well, which will be great.
I have a couple of friends who will be riding with Martin Black, so that should be another good one.
Any other interesting trainers about this summer anyone?

I've ridden with Kathleen for the last five years and am now the Scottish Host - she is amazing :)

I am also going to audit Martin Black - my family are all from Yorkshire so it will be great to visit the homeland :D
 
If you like Mark, you will probably like Kathleen - she spent a number of years on the road with Mark, learning and working with him. She also co-wrote a book with him 'A Life with Horses; Spirit of the work' and wrote another entitled 'In the Company of Horses, A year on the road with Horseman Mark Rashid'. If she is holding a clinic near you, you should try and go see her :)
