Lovely as they are, anyone else find that the zip breaks after a while, exposing undergarments usually of the Bridget Jones stylee and a lovely draft of fresh air circulating between various pieces of apparatus located between the lower part of ones body? :D

Friend has gone through 3 pairs.

While my cheap and chearful Sherwoods at under 20 quid are holding up rather nicely. :D

Yep, I've had this problem too. I have two pairs that are about 6 months old that I now have to safety pin to prevent myself from exposing my underwear to the world . I know a lot of people that have the same problem though so I don't think its just your pair/s in general.

We can all sport attractive safety pin/security methods of fastening our zips together :D.

just had the zip replaced on my fave pair - they're prob less than a year old so a bit disappointed. interesting to hear it's a common problem! anyone complained to MT about it?

I've not had any problems with the zips - but after having two pairs literally fall apart at the seams, after about 6 months I have now given up on them entirely.

I tend to favour either Sherwood, Rugged or Pikeur for breeches now.

Well I bought a pair of MT breeches exactly the same range & size as the one's I already had, and didn't even bother to try them on coz I thought they'd be fine.

When I wore them for the first time, they felt very tight over one knee and I couldn't understand why till I took them off and measured them, and sure enough there was a whole inch difference between the right and left!!! I took them back to the shop where I'd bought them, who couldn't believe it either!

Dunno where they're made: probably somewhere in the Far East of the world beginning with C?!!

Not over keen on Mark Todd clothing at all, fleece jumpers shrunk, Waterproof chaps buckle broke and you can only do the waterproof jacket up to the top if the hood is out!!

Hmmmm, well I didn't seem to notice Mark Todd stopping half way round his XC phase having problems with his flys did you, perhaps he was wearing a different make :D

Yup, mine too! I was blaming my fat tummy, but maybe I'll give myself a break now! I won't buy them again. For £50 I'm sure I could find a pair more comfortable that doesn't break.

I tried on a pair of MT breeches at Burghley and they were baggy in the leg! Now I would have thought that would have been an area Mark Todd would have insisted on being good fitting with his skinny legs.

I have a pair of the checked ones (can't remember the brand name) and I do like them but they have shrunk since I bought them a few months ago. Bought a pair of Tally Ho breeches at Burghley for £32 and they are lovely!
