Hi, I am thinking of buying the Mark Todd 'deluxe padded stitched comfort bridle' for my mare, as it looks like a nice bridle and I think it will look lovely on my mare as many comfort bridles I have seen are thick and this doesn't suit her. However after being dissapointed with the quality of the first bridle I got for her, (most of the keepers were too large and slid down, many of the holes were too small and I had to re-punch them) I want to be careful with this new one. As this bridle is not cheap (well it's not for me) I was wondering if it is the good quality I am expecting and how the sizes come up.
If anyone can help, thanks!

Usually good quality, sizes are pretty true.

I have one and like it a lot. Its lovely and soft although the keepers on the headpiece occasionally come off - but this is partially due to my horse requiring the very end holes so there's not much strap to put in the keepers. As for size, Ive had a FS on a TB with a tiny head and an IDx with a huge head and both needed the holes at either end (the ID could do with a larger noseband really).

I would recommend them!

I brought a normal flash bridle about 3 years ago and its still going strong. The rubber reins havent lasted as well as they might and the rubber has started to come off them. My mare is a 16hh TB with a fairly small head and the cob size fits her perfectly except the browband which came up a bit small.
I think the quality in the stiching and padding is good and its worth the amount you pay. The only thing im a little dissapointed in is some of the silver buckles have discoloured slightly to a brass colour. Thats it though!
