Has anyone got these boots? If so are they good? Comfy, warm etc?

My Mountain horse boots are on deaths door after 3 hard years so I need to think about replacing them soon, the Mark Todd ones are on offer for £60 locally so thought they might be worth a try :)

For 60 quid, I'd go for it!! I dont have them, have the ariat equivalent, set me back 250 euro!! but a friend of mine has the mark todd ones, but she paid a lot more, they are good, comfy and so warm, like bed socks to waer!! So are my ariats, but they'd want to be after paying that much for them.

Ooooh think I might have to get them then, annoying thing is they're on offer for one day only, the day I go on Holiday  Will see if I can persuade them to let me have them a day early, or I might be able to phone up and order them on the offer day :D

Caz - I'm happy to pick you up a pair up if you want, just let me know :D

do you mean the cook winter boots? thats what i have and love them. very warm and cosy. only downfall is they have material at the front of the foot to allow your ankle to bend, so they are not waterproof, plus where the zip is, they will leak too. not the best to wear tramping thru boggy fields to get ponio. but great for riding.

I think they look great and at that price you cant go wrong! Is it at Countrywide?
I was going to buy some but went to try them on and they are very comfy, the only problem i found was irritatingly my legs are a bit too short and riding would have been very uncomfortable in them!

I know countrywide will have them on offer on the 23rd Oct for £60 I am tempted to buy a pair too and save my mountain horse winter boots.

Just had a pair of Cooks from Equestrian Clearance (also £60).

Measured my calf. Checked the calf width.

Very excited when they arrived yesterday (usual good service from EC, thank you), and they don't flaming well fit! :( :( :( They are too narrow lower down the leg. First time I've ever had that problem :(. And although they measure about 18" round the outside of the boot, they are a good inch and a bit off fitting my calf, even though my calf is 17" and the boots are meant to fit 17".

Am feeling very piddled off now :(. Was so chuffed to have found them :(. Muckboots are wonderfully warm and waterproof, but rub the back of my leg, just above the spur rest, and I don't want to buy the Dubarrys I want 'till I'm much fitter.

Off to sulk into a large mug of tea and a bath.

3B - hope they fit you hun :D

Not sure if they are the same ones but my friend got a pair of Mark Todd boots last Christmas and after 2 months they were splitting, she looked after them really well as well!
