Mark Todd long boots

I have some competition boots (not sure if you are talking comp or country boots). I would say they are pretty standard on the foot but narrow up the calf.
Sadly, I bought mine and 2 weeks later took a cracking fall. (Last Spetember). My ankle still isn't well enough to ride properly which is just as well as it is too swollen to go in my shiny new boots :(

I love mine. Decent length (I have long legs relative to height so bleedin' menace getting boots to fit!), decent calf width (or rather, because they're not too short, they fit ok round the calf :p), normal boot size. My v tall, slim friend couldn't get them to fit though as her ankles were too broad

I had some Mark Todd fleece lined long boots that were really comfy. Unfortunately after about 9 months of use the zip went on one boot and shortly after that was repaired the zip went on the other one. Mark Todd where not very helpful despite me not having had them for over a year! Decided against paying another £40 to fix the 2nd zip so they were redundant/useless after 11 months.

The most annoying part is that I didn't trash/over use them, they lived in my tack room and I literally only put them on when I was tacking up and took them off straight after the ride, we always seem to have mud so would wear wellies when ever I wasn't on the horse!

For the reason that they did not last, I would not buy Mark Todd boots again.

I reckon you were unlucky 3Bs - though that doesn't excuse their unhelpfulness - I've had mine about 3 years, I regularly abuse them (I use them a lot, don't change them on the yard, they're my spares, have walked 5 miles home from yard in them before etc) and they scrub up pretty well...
