Im sorry if this is in the wrong place.
I was wondering what you guys thought of the Mark Todd product range?
Do you like it / buy it?
What do you think of its price range?

Over all opinions ?

:D Thank you!!

Probably a bit of a general question tbh.

I think most people take bits and pieces from lots of different manufacturers!

Yes i know, i wasnt implying people stock up on his products, i was just wondering what people thought of the items they had bought, or wouldnt buy because of price or something :)

Just curious :)

I really love my Mark Todd competition boots - although they never have been a shiny when polished as when I first got them :)

Oh ok! I see.

I like the rugs and breeches, just ordered a jacket but have to say only because it was clearance price tbh.

Never bought any leatherwear.

I can't comment on any of the human range. But I have found the rugs generous in size, seem to last and compared to some brands are reasonable in price.
In my experience i have found that the rugs are really good on wide horses (cobs, Clydesdale etc) but they seem a bit wide around the chest for my narrower TB x Shire.
I bought a light weight over 4 years ago and used it on my horse for 2 years and the sold it to a friend who still uses it on her horse, so although i paid nearly £60 for a light weight rug it has lasted 4 years and 2 different horses and still being used today!!!
I have also at one point had a set of travel boots which i found fitted well and were supportive and protective but were the wrong size for my new horse.

I really like the rugs, warm, fit well and are tough. As for the clothing range, i thought it was not worth the money, the fleeces shrunk after first wash, the chaps broke and i cant do the waterproof jacket up when the hood is folded in.

The coolex turn outs are well worth the money IMO, love them.

Oh yes and the some of the saddle cloths are cheap looking!

Does anyone have the Mark Todd Reigna (sp?) waterproof trousers....really tempted by them but i am a 34" leg and they only come in a 31" apparently :-( but they do look very comfy and not a bad price.

My horse has a mark todd turnout....i havent used it yet as i only got her in august....it came with her and her owner is pleased with it.

I just got some of his winter riding boots and am absolutely in love with them!! They are so warm! I also have a couple of rugs which came with my horse and have lasted well (though I prefer PE rugs if given a choice).

Have quite a collection of MT things ..... tend to pick up the clothes/jackets when I see them on sale. Gone on to buy boots, saddle cloth, headcollar etc.

Speaking of which, Id really like a MT blouson right now .... :p

Had a couple of the rugs over the years. The lightweights t/o we bought a few about 5yrs ago- and have two left- not saying others have died- just no longer on the yard...?! neither are very waterproof. Whereas the other brands we have bought, 4yrs on still waterproof. Not going to comment on tough as they often swap horses etc

Travel boots we have hundreds pairs of MT boots- Only one of our horses have ever destroyed them, and he destroys everything. Would only buy MT travel boots.

The gisbourne breeches I love, have lots and lots of pairs. But they are cheap and alot look tired now. But they are worn to death.

Just a thought- a groom bought some MT over trousers and jacket from Surrey Eq. The trousers had a hole in but was unable to return as they had shut down, and despite several reminders the jacket never arrived... but has just bought a 2nd pair of mt trousers and so far v.happy!

rugs are great, got a pair of the leather boots they seem fine too, took a while to soften but ok now
quite like the coat gloss/tail spray too

just bought a heavy weight turnout rug and fingers x!! hope im not gonna be disapointed with it!! was a good price tho tbh better than some other makes ive used and not really liked!!

I saved up and got a stable rug (the navy plaid one - looks SO GOOD on my roan).

The breast clips broke after a week but I had them replaced and it's been a great rug. Going into it's second year now.

It is fine for my Tank but the rug would be too heavy for my arab.

I love the rest of his stuff and wouldn't be embarrased in wearing his brand as he's a HERO....

I havent got any of the equine or human wear myself, but bought a pair of his gloves for a friend on her birthday last year and she loves them!
I absolutely adore the competition gloss spray and competition shampoo from the product range too - smells so good and fab results!

Ive got some gloves, and some travel boots - Both doing FAB so far!
I last night bought some FleeceLined long boots - they are so far warm and comfy - very nice! - hope they will last well.
I have got a rug too - seems to be very warm and waterproof so far.

Most of it is very well designed and resonable price too.

I love my Mark Todd blouson, have had it for over 2 years and it's been absolutely brilliant. It was one of the cheapest out at the time too. Very warm, and snuggly and fluffy. A friend has just bought one in red (jealous, they only did black when i got mine) and its so fluffy and soft on the inside.

I've never really bought any of his horsey range but i have seen them and admired them, i think they seem good quality and not too expensive, and if ginger nagg would load to go anywhere i might consider spoiling him with MT travel boots etc. But he won't, and he doesn't really need anything very often so that's why i've not bought any more MT stuff.
