Seen a Mark Todd lightweight sheet online with 20% which i quite fancy as it seems reasonable at £42 brand new

Is this good value? what are your opinions on these rugs as i have always had weatherbeta

Your opnions greatly valued

Thanks
:)

I've had other Mark Todd stuff (boots, coat, lycra hood) and I really like these products and find them excellent quality so I would think that the LW sheet would be similar :)

I have two LW sheets, one on its 3rd winter and one on its second. They both still look brand new and haven't needed any repairs. The fit is great too - a bit more generous than my Mastas and Wetherbeetas, but in all the right places.

I've just invested in a MW Mark Todd turnout on the strength of the performance of the lightweights (Rideaway sale + discount voucher :) ).

I have a MT rug and it's been great, really good rug, one of my favourites. I'd have another.

Had some MT jod boots and they were pretty crap.

I have a full neck HW and HW stable rug and am really pleased with both. I have had them for 3 years and they still look great, all fixtures etc are fine. The TO is really deep and so keeps her really cosy. Never had either of them move or slip. Would definitely buy more

I'm another MT fan - i have previously always been a premier equine rug addict, but bought a MT rug at the end of last year as a spare because although the PE's have always been fab in wet weather, her rug just couldn't cope with the endless torrential rain and sometimes was damp in the morning. However since buying the mark todd, it has been the rug I have reached for every morning in preference to the PE. It fits beautifully (with a long enough neck which is rare in most rugs!), doesn't slip, and is warm and waterproof - and has the added bonus of drying quicker than the PE. Have been so impressed with it and will definitely buy more in the future.

I have lots of rugs and was debating what to buy my mare this winter as she needed a new heavyweight. I chose a Mark Todd as I have a ten year old medium weight which has been a fab rug and fits her shape really well. I did debate whether to buy MT again as I had read a few reviews which were less favourable. I am pleased to say I am delighted with the new heavyweight - great quality, really warm and snug and fits well. It was a very reasonable price too.

That's interesting. My MT rug doesn't have a neck, but I find my PE full neck rugs are nowhere near long enough for the two of mine that have them.

I have the deluxe hw and it's great! Hasn't been used for long so can't comment on durability but it's a lovely looking rug and fits well!

Not had the l/w before but have had a couple of the m/w full neck t/os. Loved the fit of them and how generous the necks were but cos they were only 600d they only seemed to last a couple of years before they either got ripped beyong repair or started leaking. (and that's on a horse who was kind to his rugs!) If they ever start doing a 1000d plus version at the weight I want then I'd buy one without hesitation
