Are they any good? I do have some boots but hate them, they have about 8 velcro straps, and are a pain as you undo them and before you put them on the horse the velcro has stuck together!

Opinions please.. Oh and does anyone know what the purple colour looks like? As i can find these for £22. Does that sound reasonable?

I have them..........Love them!!!
ive had mine for a good few years now and they still look v smart.
Not sure about the purple colour as i have them in navy but £22 sounds like a bargin!!

TBH I don't really like them, I found that they are quite large and in order to get them tight enough around their legs. http://www.derbyhouse.co.uk/user_resources/Image/prod_medium/P4060008-01.jpg That picture shows what I mean, if you try and tighten them around the legs there is hardly any velco left to keep it together (if you get me) They are nice quality but I don't like boots like that.

I love mine - I've had them for years and they're still in really good condition. Mine are boring black though - don't think they did purple when I bought them.

I can't stand mine. I have 2 sets for two different horses & i wont use either set now. There really bulky on there legs all my horses feel really constricted in them & 2 of my neds are difficult to load when wearing these boots. There's only one horse out of my 3 that will load well when wearing them.

I use bandages now instead of my MT Boots & have no loading problems at all since i did this.

Just remembered i must put my MT's on Ebay!!

Thanks for replies, think i may aswell live with the purple colour for that price, dont see the point of spending an extra £23 for another colour!

I got some Mark Todd travel boots to bring my new pony home in last week. It was a long journey, about 4 hours and I thought they were great. They gave my pony great support and were still in place when we got home - and his legs are quite fine. I paid £45 for then new and think they were well worth it.

I have them and love 'em !!! Had my set for about 7 years, used them loads, chucked them in the washing machine lots, they're still in perfect condition. The sizes can come up a bit big. The 'cob' size fit my 16'2" warmblood perfectly so the full size must be pretty big.

I'm a big fan of the whole Mark Todd range though - good quality and very practical - you can tell someone's put a bit of thought into how the stuff will be used.

I've got the full size ones for Pidge and they fit fine, but then he is a big lad

Didn't know you could put them in the washing machine though, are you sure they wash ok?

Just got pair of these and Yes the're purple!!! but hay they were £20 and horse can't say don't like colour or does my bum look big in these. So i'm happy

I had black but they got trashed by a friends horse so have been given a purple set!!!

I think they are nice (look good on merlin, being a black horse)

BUT so far as putting them in the washing machine... I did this and the binding has rubbed on the inside of the machine and caused a couple of baldy bits :-( SO I wont be putting them in again.

I have some of the green ones - they are great - fit well, don't slip and even wash ok. If only the head girls puppy hadn't chewed one of the straps they are as new.
