Cold weather and all that - have found one of these for what looks like a good price (£46 delivered). I have heard good things about them but have two queries for any exisiting users/ They look less fitted and more bulky that most under rugs,? Or is it just the way the pics are taken ?
And - any chance they fit in a domestic washing machine ?

Thanks

i have the under rug combo, use it as a normal medium weight stable and as an under rug. it sits nicely underneath other rugs and doesnt move, slip around etc.
depeneding on the size you are orderering i wouldnt have thought you could get it in your washer, mine is 6'3" and doesnt fit it, but if you are orderering a 5ft maybe you could. i would say probs not though
nice rugs, the only thing i would say is that the filling squashes down. mine is on its 2nd winter and looking alittle flat

Sorry not answering your question but I just thought I would suggest the Robinsons Under Snug as an alternative as it is only £28! It is like a shaped duvet and I put it on under my heavy weight stable rug on really cold nights. I have always struggled with duvets before as they move around too much but because this is shaped I have found it hardly moves at all. Although its quite thick, it is not bulky and retains its shape well. Don't think it will go in a domestic washing machine though as they are quite large!

Mine have the M/Todd Under Rug with necks and they fit perfectly and don't move or rub. Am pleased with them. They don't seem bulky and they are cut and shaped very nicely. Depends on what size you get as to whether they would fit in your machine, mine are 6ft 6 and 6ft9's and they prob wouldn't fit in the washing machine at home but if your horse is smaller sized then possibly it would.

I have a Mark Todd under rug that I bought from Old Dairy Saddlery and it's a lovely rug and not bulky at all. Don't know if there's more than one under rug in range?

I have both of these...

The top one is old (prob about 4 years old) and has split in a lot of places, but they seem to have altered the design to prevent this happening now.

The rug liner is BRILLIANT, it doesn't move, doesn't get pulled backwards and choke my horse, it is very light and not at all bulky but warm, I love it and so does my horse

thanks everyone, seems quite positive. the Robinsons one looks v good value, but was looking for something with surcingles so could also use it on its own..

I've got the one with no neck and my horse is a 5'9 so his probably would fit in machine!! Love MT rugs in general and this one hasn't disappointed at all.
