I've just seen he has withdrawn from Badminton

Does anyone know why? I was so looking forward to seeing him...

Oh no, that was my main reason for going, so wanted to see him riding again.
he did v well at Belton though, has others waiting in the wings.

He withdrew from the 3* at Belton yesterday, it looks as though the withdrawal was made before Ians accident though as there isn't a dressage score.

I wonder if Tankers Town will still run at Badminton, he pulled up yesterday about 1/3 way round. Sharon did well in the 3* on 2 other rides.

perhaps Sharon pulled up even though he was going fine, iirc she has done this before, it's not always a sign of a problem.

She was last to go and lots of people waited to see her go. There was a pretty peed off looking photographer at the same fence as me, she didn't get that far.

She probs didnt want to run him round a full course just 2 weeks before badders- probs just wanted to jump a couple of combinations, get a nice feel and then take him home and wrap him up in cotton wool!

She's not obliged to do the whole course just for the spectators... it's her priceless horse!

Doesn't Tankers Town get really sore feet really quickly? Perhaps SH just wanted to effectively school him over a couple of xc and retire, then save him for Badders?

I'm going over to Badminton for the first time and was really looking forward to seeing him ride, however I see he's entered for Tattersalls so might see him there!!!

I agree, it is only 2 weeks before Badders and I doubt Sharon would want to give him a full run before then.
