Well, what a mixed day of weather it was, we had everything, high winds, torrential rain & even some sunshine!

We arrived at 7.50am, first class 1.05m Open starting at 8.30am, we wanted to use it as a warm up for the BN Area Championship which was the second class in the main ring. There were 58 entries. Course was twisting, with a combination, a couple of doubles, water tray & a big spooky Land Rover on a plinth in the middle. Daughter went in & just wanted to get him round & this she did going clear. Must have gone quicker that she realised as she came 3rd & our diesel money was sorted.

Next Class was the BN area Championship with 60+ entries. In she went & jumped a really nice, forward going clear round. We were really pleased. Then had ages to wait for the next round whilst waiting we had every type of weather. Then the second round came & in she went. As soon as she went into the arena the heavens opened!

It was like standing under a waterfall!

She rode really well but rolled a pole on the last element of the combination so 4 faults & the end of her challenge.

It was unfortunate but they went really well considering the terrible conditions.

We enjoyed the day, but were pleased to get home to have hot showers & dry off.

A fantastic effort! The weather was terrible at times but I still enjoyed spectating. Not sure whether I saw your daughter compete or not but well done to her!
