Just wondered as I have had my boy advertised for a little while now, the only interest I've really had was to check he wasn't 3 this year! Does no one buy 2 year olds?

I bought one a month ago and he is an absolute sweetheart (2 in may), even if he is probably going to be double his predicted height if he keeps growing!! Someone will come up eventually, i wanted to be able to get to know him and have the 18 months of him being a baby before he starts his education properly!!

Maybe now people are tightening their belts and working with what they've got rather than adding another mouth to feed. Keep up the advertising and someone will come along, and if you're really desperate, remember everything sells at the right price. I'm not saying give him away, but it depends entirely on your personal circumstances as to what price tag you put on him. Good luck.

i'm looking for one, they just seem to be the other side of the country so if anyone has a mw hw cobby to get to 15.2-16hh pm me

ps midlands based

I sell the very odd 2 year old - but TBH I don't bother advertising them! (which is why I have ten 3yo's to back and sell this year!:D)

I find 2 year olds just don't shift - people tend to want yearlings (for cheap - and getting to know you - and in-hand showing) and backed 3 year olds (they fly off the shelf as soon as they're backed and hacking quietly) that they can be riding NOW!

I have a stunning 2 year old show filly that I have advertised and only 2 timewasters have contacted me. No real interest at all. Which surprises me because my plain yearling filly which didn't have great confo and had a bit of an attitude sold quickly. Whereas this pony has great confo, paces, temperament and is so stunning to look at...yet nothing.

LOL, wow 10 to do, and i'm worried about the time for me to do 2!!!! good luck!!!

Yes the alternative is to keep him until next year and back and ride him away, he'll be plenty mature enough, but I'll be asking alot more money then, plus am already attached to the boy!! Another year is another year of attachment! Hence the reason for advertising him now!
