Market Harborough & a 3 ring gag?

just wondering as i saw someone riding with this last week,they had the mh on the middle rein & normal reins on the snaffle rein

Have ridden a horse with the market harborough through the snaffle ring and the reins on the one down from it. Wouldn't have it the other way round though.

I would have the MH through the snaffle and the reins on the middle or bottom ring if anything I certainly would not have the MH on ring other than the snaffle.
