Does anyone know if I can put a market harborough with a pelham I have a very forcefull mare , also any good instructors in the horndean area of hants please reply

All a MH is, is a martingale and drawer reins in one, As long as you're a competent rider and are aware of the 'gadget' you're using on your horse , you should be ok!

You are only suppose to use one with a snaffle bit.

A market harborough n a snaffle might work better than the pelham so its worth a go anyway. I no someone who has tried most bits on her horse but finds the MH works better.

I have been using a MH on my new horse, who has the attention span of a gnat.
I have found it really helps him pay a bit more attention to me, even on a very loose rein.
I wouldn't advise using it with a pelham.
When you say forceful, what do you mean?

shes funny she isnt strong with her head but only does walk extended trott and gallop , would like to teach her to canter properly , have used one before but only with a snaffle , she does however listen a bit more with the snaffle so looks like i will just have to take up the reins a bit more and teach her to canter, only problem is she raises her head and bounces like a stag which throws me up in the air like a rag doll,
