This centre would adopt European methods such as station and field tests along with shorter evaluations right here in the UK to license your mares and stallions for breeding. It could be used as a central hub for all sport horse studbooks, creating a vast database of quality breeding information, a British Bred Auction house and an international competition centre. How would such a centre 'own' the breeding information? If DNA already exists within breed societies, how would such a centre access it? If you cannot you will of course subject breeders to double costs.

As a breeder who already subscribes to two breed societies and numerous other organisations, I am increasingly exasperated by the amount of money I need to lay out for the most basic registrations.

I ask more and more 'What do I get for my money?'
