Thanks to Hayley Chamberlain who rides the horses for me we had a fairly good Xmas day out at Markfield BSJA today
.
Took the horse I have got in to school & sell and did his first ever BSJA class (British Novice) on a ticket. He was gawping around the area with his eyes out on stalks so had a silly stop at the first fence but jumped well after that and got round in one piece so really pleased with him.
Then the new horse I have bought with the above friend jumped a lovely double clear in the Discovery at his first show since we bought him 2 weeks ago. We were delighted with him so left it on a good note and didn't do anymore classes. We are hoping he is going to be a star!
Finally, the old Grade A did the Blue Chip Star qualifier but unfortunately had a fence down so didn't qualify
- never mind I still love him
.
Shame about the thick fog on the way home though
