I haven't posted for ages, but Markie is well (a bit too well, way too much grass at the moment!). At the end of last summer, I asked for help regarding his extreme pulling when in the show ring. I was thinking of a Waterford pelham, but, over the winter, we've done a lot of work to get him working stronger from behind, lighter in the hand and a bit quicker off the leg. Seems to have worked :).
Owing to the weather, he hasn't been out as much this year, just 3 shows :(. So far, at Easter he go firsts in coloured and cob classes, County Show he was champion veteran and last weekend he was 2nd in coloured, 4th in veteran and won the cob class. He's also picked up 3 tickets for Royal London.
Not bad for a 20 year old hefty!

Just to say, the past few days he's totally ballooned and is now in during the daytime so that he can't eat himself into an early grave :)

Wow he's gorgeous :)
I think weve all struggled this year with the rain and sun with our cobs, well I certainly have !
Iv never known so much grass!
