Marking tack with postcode

There was a post in Latest News about tack theft, post seems to have disappeared. One of the things mentioned was getting tack postcoded - is there a company that does this? I want to get mine marked, is there anyone who can point me in the right direction please?

i thought the police could do it for you but cant remember where i heard this

You can buy letter and number die kits and stamp the postcode yourself, before I got mine I used to mark my saddles with a soldering iron.
Personally, being a skinflint, I would do it myself rather than pay someone, perhaps your saddler can help?

contact your local county constabulary - if they don't do it then I think farmkey do something

Your local horsewatch group (find them through the police) will probably do it for free
