I think he was holding his tail slightly wonky as I dont think the top was crooked

I think I would be launched into orbit if I tried to pull his tail....... mind you I would launch anyone into orbit who did it to him too...... he has a lovely tail

10/10 that looks excellent! What a nice tail he has - my horses are liver chesnut and when I pull up bits from the sides at the top they are a lighter colour so don't look very good.

Oh I think that looks lovely...... I had a liver chestnut whose tail reminded me of a ginger badger.... .dark in the middle and light at the sides

Thank you, he has a very nice tail, when it gets brushed..... it actually touches the floor now and is usually in dreadlocks!!!

If you are owned by an Appy then my heart goes out to you

That is the old Appy, who is sadly no longer with us, it took 20 years to get her tail like that! She was 32 when that picture was taken. The other in my sig is the current Appy, with very subtle spots and quite a good tail amazingly enough. I don't want to tempt fate by pulling or plaiting it as it is so fine I think it will all break off!

looks great far better than my efforts would reveal.

although if i were being nit picky then i would say it goes a bit squiff in the middle and thicker at the ends you need to maintain thickness down the plait xx

Thanks guys....

Sachak.... do you mean the central plait or the bits that come from the side..... I think I can see what you mean, but not sure how to avoid the central plait getting bigger as you are adding hair to it all the time
