I decided to buy a few bags of Marksway Timothy Haylage for the neds as I havent yet got round to ordering any hay (well, not got round it is a fib - I dont have the money to pay out for a load!)
Well, what can I say - Its brilliant - one bale goes a hell of a long way, and the neds love it! They have it out in their field in a huge tub so they dont tread all over it. Two sections shakes out to a whopping pile as the bales are so heavy and tightly packed, and as it comes out slice at a time really easily you dont drop half of it on the floor. I almost quake at the waste of hay I see amongst my fellow liveries!

I think I shall continue with this as I will be able to afford enough at a time without laying out a fortune, and know it wont be mouldy (had a load of that last year - had to throw out 20 bales) - so in many ways it is cost effective and you get your money back if you should get a duff bag!

anyone else out there use this?

My horse wouldn't touch it, she absolutely hated it, and she was the biggest most greedy dustbin horse in the world who had never turned her nose up at anything else ever before.

A very expensive turned up nose!

Mine loved it and was easy to store- outside even as its well packaged. But current yard makes its own so I don't nerd to buy in
