Can anyone tell me anything about this Stallion? Have read the information on the Sports Horse Database website but just wondered if anybody knew anything about what kind of genes and traits he generally passes onto his offspring? I'm riding a horse atm who is by him, so I am just interested to see if he is like his Sire.

Any info much appreciated. :)

We have a visiting mare this season with Marmite D'or/My squire Carentino breeding she is lovely lovely lovely, superb temp and conformation but she is Bay!

Hi a friend of mine has his grandson, not his offspring I know but related.hes a stunning horse with beautiful movement and a temperment to die for as I used to deal with him regularly. We also found out that a son of Marmite called the travellor who was also my friends horses sire also had a lovely temperment and also won horse of the year,i cant remember what year but was very successful.hope this helps.....:)

I also had a gelding by Marmite D'or. I obviously had the problem child of the family!. He was highly strung, had no idea of personal space - possibly hand reared. He was a pink/grey colour - passport said chestnut but was definately grey by the time I sold him at 5. I guess he must have got the TB antics from the ex racing mother. Defintely of TB stature & mind. He did go on to intro eventing but would never settle in a school so dressage was to be avoided.

I have a 16.2h Liver Chestnut ISH by Marmite D'or and Tims Quine. My mare has got impeccable manners, she just wants to please and nothing at all phases her. She is a perfect TRUE bomb-proof horse with a heart of gold.

She has a strong affinity for jumping, this is the only time I can fault her, she gets a little strong, not uncontrollable just more fizzy than usual when fences are around. But, still controllable. People always comment on her temperament, a true sweetie :D
