Martingale help!

I've gotten a great deal on a running martingale on ebay, but I didn't notice in the photos that this martingale has two clips in the place of the metal rings (that slide onto the reins). I'm assuming this makes it easier to take the martingale on and off and the intention is to just leave the rings on the reins between rides while unclipping the martingale.

So where the heck do I buy these rings from? A search for "martingale rings" just brings up the stops for the reins, which I already have in place. Help!

Hi - everything else looks standard like a running martingale to me. The clips are the only difference. Sold as a "full size black leather running martingale".

Will be annoying if so (the clips weren't shown in the ebay picture when I bought it) but at least I will know what it is so that I can sell it on!

I don't have the ability to post pictures, sorry, and the auction ended (as I bought the item).

Send it back. Technically it is a "Market Harborough Martingale", not a running martingale, so you haven't got what it was listed as.

I may be able to help... I work in health and social care and medication come on ringed blister packs that would be perfect.. I can send you some if you want? What a great idea!

But I would tend to agree that it’s not actually a running martingale you have purchased!?

I suspect the seller didn't know what they had! You're totally within your rights to return it.

Yeah. You can see I didn't look closely enough at the images, but I kind of do see this one as my "oops". It's not clear but you can see the clips in image 3.

I've got a bid in on an actual running martingale that looks a damn side more familiar now!
