Not read all the replies but if you can't get Danilon then mint seems to work with all of ours. That and the sneaky M stuff. If any of mine are fussy the mint normally does it and then if they're still being daft a big blob of molasses.
I'll store some of these suggestions in my memory that only works for things equine. Hopeless for anything else!
Danilon's by far the easiest.
In the days before Danilon I used to get bute in paste form. Comes in a wormer type syringe with 6 doses per syringe. More expensive than Danilon.
When necessary I hide most medication in soaked Badminton Fibre Plus Nuggets. Horses love them as much as any treat. They've got some strange herb in that's irresistible.
