Mass next to claw

Not a great photo but does anyone have any idea what this may be? Noticed my little pat licking his foot for a couple of days, had a look tonight there's a big mass right next to his nail bed. Thickened 'elephant' skin and looks quite red, no discharge. ?abscess ? Cyst.

I'd get it checked at your vets. U can never be too sure with lumps. Xxx

My Cane Corso has had two of these types of lumps, though hers were more inbetween the paws.

The first one was removed by the Vets, I don't think they were entirely sure what caused it.

The second one we left well alone (she is a troublesome patient ) and it went away on its own accord.

Neither of them seemed to cause her any particular discomfort, but you are far better popping to the Vet, so many different things can cause lumps.
