Hi, My horse loves it when you use a rubber curry comb on his back and neck but iI wondered if there was something that would be better. i though about one of those wooden massge things from the body shop. Any ideas anyone? x

Have you tried using your hands? My mare loves it when I give her a massage, to the point that she will actually move around me placing the bits of her body she wants doing next under my hands. It's a great way of getting a close bond with your horse but a bit tiring on the old muscles!

As to using the bobbly wooden things I guess they would be ok providing you avoid the spine and other bony bits of the body.

tennis ball on the rump is a good one. Just roll it around on the muscley parts, don't go near the hip or spine. Hands on the rest of the body
