Today Tia and & jumped. Following a fall as a child I have had a fear of jumping which has been with me for around 35 years ( wow that long, I am so old !! ).

I have longed to be able to conquer this fear and have really envied people who jump so well and make it look fantastic.

Anyway earlier this am Tia and I went over a tiny cross pole twice. I am so pleased to have achieved this. I am on cloud nine!!

Thank you Tia ( seen below ) for being such a wonderful, kind and patient pony. I love you xxx

Well done you! I had a nasty fall about 20 years ago at a hunter trials competition and I have not jumped since. Really scared of jumping, or even cantering in open spaces now. I'm jealous!

Well done, you must be soooooo thrilled.

I have same jumping fears but make myself do jumping lesson once a week (masochist or what?). Before lesson always have butterflies and am always on verge of saying 'let's just do a flat lesson this week'. But afterwards, like you, am on cloud nine that I've managed it. Well done for cracking your fear and keep going!

Well done, I had a fall over a jump when out huntting early this year, it knocked me for 6, as i have two kids, job ect ect and that little bit older now. I really wanted to jump my horse but thought she might over jump the jump "again" and i would pop out the side door again. but start small and go from their, it's helping me alot, and what a gr8 feeling when you go that little bit higher each time. good luck x

oh well done you that is such an achievement, I am trying to overcome my jumping demons too and I find regularly jumping little jumps is helping me and George loves it!

Thank you for all your lovely comments and wishes. I am still on a high about this!! and hope to carry on. You never know I might even manage 40 cms one day!
