Too much so in my experience - and I say this with a half-Ardennes mare built like a powerhouse and a rapidly growing 3 year old, already standing at 17hh and solid... So, yes!

What breeds are your horses and what size fleeces did you get? Ours is shire x cob and takes 7' to 7'3" rugs normally xx
