There are so many types ie zing, avante etc which ones are the best? Looking for medium weight combo type.

Also are the neck covers genorous?

I've always found they're good rugs, bit limited as to make as need a 7'3" one and needs to be genorously round chest which masta's are xx

I've just bought the "turnoutmasta" in a 200g combo. Must say, very impressed with it! Especially with all this wet weather we're having. Rain is running straight off, haven't needed to swap to a dry one, and very generous around the chest. Ny boy is perfectly warm and dry underneath.
(Had to bring in today but that's because of the fields not the rug!)

I love my masta rugs for my big guys so much i rang them and asked them if they are going to be making anymore tri vent rugs, after a few long conversation they are going to start doing this in September this year and in 7'3 sizes and deep too - woo hoo cant wait Ive got mine ordered already :D

Hate Masta since they introduced those check teq ones

I like weatherbeeta and amigo

Agree Noisy Girl Masta's are rubbish and dont fit many horses. I had the Check Teq turnout rug and ended up selling it after having the neck altered. Also it leaked. JHL are good rugs I bought a turnout rug from Equestrian Clearance and it has proved very reliable and does not leak at all.

So depends on chunkiness of horse - I love Masta and Weatherbeeta but the lovely looking Rambos do'nt fit so well. Mine is a well-made lady.

Check Tech are the best fit on my big highland, the neck is plenty roomy enough for him, they are pretty deep too. I was not so impressed with the Zing but i believe they are their budget range. The check techs have lasted a few years now.

Masta seems a little like Marmite - love or hate them!

Personally my old horse had a Masta turn out and i thought it was brilliant.
Current horses both have light stable rugs by Masta. I like their toughness and quality feeling hard ware.

Zing is the cheaper end of the range in reply to op's question. Not quite as tough fabric etc

I had a couple of Masta turnouts, a lightweght and a medium weight for my boy. I found them quite small fitting and they rubbed his chest (he is only a TB) and the linings ripped really easily.
I got rid of them and now use Premier Equine turnout rugs all the way :) which are great.

Imho masta im not keen on apart from there stable rugs,a masta only lasted a week on my girl ripped once repaired it ripped twice threw it in the bin.Ever since i only stick with jhl and amigo,my big guy is a sod for ripping rugs but the amigo mio has lasted since last year and boy has he put it through its paces. :)

Had Masta in the past, they were OK but I find that Weatherbeeta Landa Combo, in various weights are great. They are cut to fit really well, there's no movement on the horse & are weatherproof. I don't think I'd go back to Masta now, even if offered at really low prices....honestly.

I find both the rugs and the neck covers generous even on my thick necked id x friesian, they are definitely for the wider chested types.

Weatherbeeters I like but they are so tight on him they look like they've been sprayed on they seem to be more designed for TB types.

Ive never had a good fitting Masta turnout rug. Had horses all shapes and sizes as well.
However the stable rugs are ok.

Much prefer fal turnout, they seem to fit everything and always leave the coat shiny, bonus !!

Same, I actually dont even look how much they are when Im looking for new turnout rugs I just skip over any Masta's, so they could be cheap as chips and I wouldnt know :)

Two of my favourite stable rugs are Masta though, really nice stable rugs and Id buy more.
