What are Masta rugs like these days? I've not had one for easily almost 15-20years. I've seen a really nice 50g one that's a good price and I have a voucher to use too. What is fit like? One thing that's putting me off is the front openings which are the husband and wife type which doesn't give much room for maneuvering and I always worry about them getting caught on haynets.

I absolutely loved my fieldmasta

I did find their cheaper rugs without shoulder darts were a bit of an odd fit and too gappy around the neck iirc. I'm sure I've still got a LW stable rug that shape.

But yeah, my fieldmasta was a brilliant rug. It was original stock so not sure what thr newer version are like.

I have a field Masta (is that the dome neck?!) I think it’s a field Masta and it’s great. Seems lovely quality.
My friend has some of the cheaper 600d ones and they haven’t really lasted well at all both waterproof wise and in general but her horse is hard on rugs.

I forgot I also have a Climate Masta which they no longer actually make I don’t think sadly but at the time it was one of the only 1200d 4’9 rugs I could find.
10 years later it’s still going strong and a very firm favourite

Thanks, the ones I liked were out of stock in their sizes. My youngster had his Saxon on which has the same clips and he's managed to completely bend one so much I can't get it on or off without taking it over his head...so I think I'll pass on them at the moment.
