Has anyone been on the Masterson Method course or fully qualified in this technique? https://www.mastersonmethod.com/

Wondering if it is worth it as its not cheap! Though i guess if you are then qualified (if you fulfil all the requirements) it is a possible new career?

There seems to be more and more massage courses available and i am not sure which are the good ones!

I don't believe there is a totally full time career in body work (as opposed to physio) in the current climate unless you've been established for a while. although opinions as to what a full time wage is might vary! To certify in MM is expensive although its a very good modality. Equinenergy is also very good and will give you a good grounding in anatomy-its also more established and possibly not quite so expensive to gain the first level. Other than those, there is the Mary Bromily one, if she still runs it. I'm not aware of any others that are worth the money. PM me if you'd like any info on the first two.

I've done the weekend Masterson course and I loved it. I chose the weekend that Jim was present ..from the horses mouth and all that :)
I'm thinking of doing the five day course next year which does depend on my doing an equine anatomy course first I think.
From what I've seen so far with, the horses I've been practicing on. is that most horses love it. A few will be resistant to start off but will then give in.
It's very rewarding when you see the relief and relaxation the horses get from it. I think Oberon has done both the weekend and five day course so you could PM her for more information. There are quite a lot of YouTube clips showing Jim doing his stuff.

I took part in a one day course this Saturday past, I enjoyed it but wouldn't want to take it further. I have no idea how much you would charge for treating a horse but I paid £75 for the one day and there were I think four of us taking part.

Who was taking the course? Didn't realise there were one day courses available
