I've just had an absolutely amazing two days on the Suffolk weekend course. The courses is a very good mix of explanation and demonstration and lots of hands on practice. Today we got to paired up and got to practice what we learnt on day 1. Myself and partner chose Alfie who was very sleepy and dull looking warm blood. I got the most amazing responses from him using the bladder meridian, groans, stretches, back arching and yawning but had to stop because it seemed to be overwhelming him. We have him a break and then when my partner went to do his other side he started quivering and laid down. He then gave the strangest whinny and groaned and stayed down for ages. I was not the only one looking at him with tears in our eyes because of the overwhelming emotion.
We had lots of different horses to practice on. Some of which were more willing than others to let go of their tensions. Never ever thought that I'd be standing behind a stallion with my thumb on his bum :p but he seemed to like it despite my cold fingers.

Altogether hugely enjoyable experience with lots of lovely people to compare notes with and well worth attending.

Wow sounds great. I had a similar experience on my ET course last week. Tear jerking and emitional and for me confirmed that I NEED to work in this sort of area.

Glad you had a fab time.

Atlantis. Yes, it's pretty overwhelming seeing this response. Once I've absorbed it all a bit and read up on the anatomy side I may decide to continue. I don't think my brain could absorb any more this weekend though. :o

Yeah I def had brain frazzle after the three days lol. It was fab though. I can recommend the EQ50 course with equinology for anatomy if you want to learn more, although I need to pull my finger out and get on with it a bit more.
