Matching jacket and tack.. a what-to-wear question

My pony is in brown tack, well brown bridle and black and brown saddle, but I have a blue tweed jacket and navy hat - both of which Im quite attached to! She's quite a bright chestnut (the one in my sig) so am I going to look totally dreadful when I take her showjumping next year?? Thought maybe I should sell the blue jacket on ebay and invest in a brown one... I do like my tweed

I think it sounds perfectly good what you are planning to wear. Esp. Showjumping - you will probably be one of the better turned out ones!! Think the navy hat will go better with the blue tweed than with a brown one.

It really doesn't matter. People wear all sorts of things if everything had to match - have you ever seen navy blue tack?

I agree go with the blue tweed otherwise you will need another hat. (Been there done it....).

Blue tweed is fine. However, even if you purchased a brown or green tweed, I would still wear a navy hat (see my sig).

i think you will look smart, and wearing leather long boots or gaiters looks really smart as well if you dont already.
