I think if the interest is high enough, you could get them to provide a Dulux-type service, whereby you bring in your HKM/Eskadron/Anky/Eurostar pads and they make up the glitter varnish to match it perfectly.

I can't wait to get some in pink for the orange bog knobber :D
 
This has been out a long time. I have used it and it is not nearly as good as the stuff from America but you can not get the American nail polish any more as they are not allowed to fly it over for safety reasons.

Any pics?! I am slightly intrigued!

*just want to add, I was joking in my original post, I have no intention of putting any of that stuff anywhere near the bog knobber. For starters it wouldn't stick to mud.*
 
On the subject of glittery hoof daub.........

Somebody I know used to run an equine B&B. They were expecting two women to arrive with their hosses, but received a phone call to say one of the horses had gone lame, so could they come and help.

Friend was unimpressed to find that the lame horse's owner had not dismounted from said horse (as 'it's difficult to get back on', or something along those lines), but had continued to ride it on to meet my friend.

Friend made the woman get off, picked up foot and found a whacking great stone in hoof. Nuff said, black looks all round. Took them home and put them up for the night.

Next morning, he went out to help them get ready, picked out the 'lame' horse's feet as the woman 'didn't like doing it in case she got stood on'. Just before they were about to head off the woman squealed, so my friend asked what was wrong......'I've forgotten to put his nail varnish on - he can't go out without it!'

Friend looked on astounded as pink glittery hoof varnish was *very* carefully applied......only then could they proceed.

Head ----> **desk** ........... but quite amusing none the less!
 
Is it actually 'varnish' or just clear hoof oil with bits in? If varnish, how the hell would you get it off???
Hideous! Sort of line I'd expect from KP :D false eyelashes next? mane extensions? lol xx
 
Did any of you see the Laura B demo at YHL this year? The womans chestnut had patent hoofs, where do I get this? Any ideas what its called? We did buy what we thought it was but saddly just looks like normal Kevin Bacon when on! :(
 
its been around for ages that :D ive done well not buying any yet!

however for christmas shows.... god help the brown blob....its being transformed :D
 
I'be bought some and some standard glitter spray from the chemist for the tail.

The lady in the shop said you can either use it on hooves or stencil it on to rump.

The girls will love it (pony maybe not so much) especially with tinsel plaited into tail and wrapped around browband.

Christmas shows here we come! x

Yep i did and my friend and i commented on how smart they looked.No idea what the product was tho,id like to know!

My large chunky cob would look like Dame Edna with make up :D but could see TB black tart waving at the boys over the fence with sparkly hooves...............OMG! I am actually mentally buying it!!
Slap my face and make me write a thousand lines :
" my horse is naturally beautiful and has no need of make up"
 
Thanks debsg :D For you see gingerknobbermare is not naturally beautiful, so DOES need make up! Marvellous, another reason to reach for the toe sparkle :D

*palm, forehead, prays someone will come lock me up for knobber horse & foal safety.....*
